Let me tell you a bit about me…. I love Pub Trivia with my friends, a chicken schnitty with pepper sauce and I can’t stop at one serve of Potato Bake. I get a buzz out of riding my E-bike, I LOVE Halloween and scary movies and I enjoy a glass of bubbles at anytime! As Lily Bollinger once said, “I only drink champagne when I’m happy, and when I’m sad. Sometimes I drink it when I’m alone. When I have company, I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I am not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise I never touch it—unless I’m thirsty.” Cheers Lily!
I’ve been happily married (2nd time around) for nearly 30 years. Married on April Fools Day so hubby has no excuse to forget our Anniversary. We have a big ‘ol blended family with our kids, plus grandkids and now a great grand child!
Ultimately, I’m a performer at heart. I’ve worked in Entertainment, Hospitality and Retail – I guess I just love helping people and seeing them happy. By far, being a celebrant is my BEST job yet! I get great personal satisfaction from being a part of a couple’s Wedding Day. I still pinch myself – every-single-ceremony.
I have an upbeat personality and a cheeky sense of humour that makes its way into ALL the ceremonies I create. I’m a bit of a romantic at heart too. I love a good dose of ‘naw’ moments so there’s always a nice balance between laughter and tears within your ceremony.
Being from a ‘theatrical’ background, I do love a dress up. Any excuse to put on a costume, don a wig and step into a characters shoes….plus, I owned and managed my own Fancy Dress Hire business for 10 yrs, so I especially love a themed wedding!!
I believe in the tradition of marriage, but it doesn’t have to be a ‘traditional’ marriage ceremony, just check out some of the awesome photos in the Gallery. But enough about me! Let’s talk about YOU.
This is YOUR wedding day and you can choose how you want it to be – a reflection of you both! Do you have a blended family and want to involve your kids in the ceremony? Maybe a Surprise backyard wedding with a Short n Sweet ceremony? How about saying your Intimate I Do’s on a cliff top at Sellicks Beach or Port Willunga? Perhaps a secluded forest with a handful of nearest and dearest to witness your love? What about something Bold and Beautiful in a gorgeous Ballroom, the Botanical Gardens or a lavish function room??
I will do the ceremony that YOU want….except a Nudist one, ain’t nobody wanna see that!’

“Pat officiated our wedding on New Year’s Eve and did an INCREDIBLE job. After only a couple of meetings and a few questions she managed to put together a beautiful, funny and personal ceremony that perfectly captured who we are as a couple. So much so that I had a number of our guests ask me if she was an old family friend, because it seemed like she knew us so well! Of course, the absolute highlight was Pat’s pitch perfect performance of the ‘mawwiage’ scene from The Princess Bride, which had everyone at the wedding in fits of laughter. Thank you Pat for making our ceremony so very memorable!

“My partner Glen is a videographer and filmed a wedding once were Pat was the celebrant. I had a friend in mind for our wedding, but when that fell through, Glen suggested we use Pat instead. I was hesitant to have someone I didn’t know, but Glen said she was great that I was willing to give it a try.
Pat was amazing throughout our whole marriage process. Her guidance and suggestions helped to make our ceremony beautiful and heartfelt. Wedding planning is no joke- there are so many things to think of interwoven through the already busy process of life- and having Pat to gently nudge us along was so helpful.
In the beginning, Pat asked us individually to send through the stories of our relationship. She wove those in to make one story and she read this out at our ceremony. It was so beautiful to give everyone our history like that. She recommended the Red String of Fate ritual, which I researched and integrated in, and she was so gracious in allowing my dear friend to lead that section. When I wasn’t sure what to write for my vows, she sent me an example. Basically, every step of the way she was there to answer questions and guide us along.
Where Pat really shined though, was at the ceremony itself. She was well spoken, confident, sweet AND hilarious. I absolutely loved the little jokes she occasionally made that broke the tension and made us all laugh, but that were still completely professional. I was so relived to feel that I was in good hands with someone experienced and relaxed, and that held the space so well. In retrospect I am so glad I didn’t use a friend, and that we chose Pat, with all of her experience, as our celebrant.
